Todd Sanderson

Based in Connecticut, Todd is the founder of FCP2Avid.net and an Avid Community forum moderator. During his 17 year editing career, Todd took a position as an editor at a small corporate studio in the woods of Newfane, VT. In the end it was a short lived venture and a few years later, he picked up and moved back to Ohio, freelancing on features and other videos as both an editor and special effects artist. Then the opportunity he had been waiting for knocked on his door. Todd made the move to Hartford, Connecticut where he currently works as the senior Avid Editor at Motion Inc. Todd resides outside Hartford with his family – his wife, daughter and spoiled cat.

 

Todd Smelser

Todd has been an editor for over 20 years with 10 years of linear online and over 18 years of NLE time under his belt. Todd has been an ACI and ACSR for Avid and is one of the inaugural members of the Avid Master Editor classes. Todd owns Black Dog Editorial, Inc. and is currently Director of Post Production for SUCH film|video|post in Lansing Michigan.

 

Menno Drenth

Menno has been involved in broadcast for nearly 18 years in an assistant role building sets for movie shoots. He then became a sound engineer for ENG. After 10 years at ENG, he went out on his own and started a company called MediaAssist. With six years of various experiences from editing to installations and everything in between, he has built a good name in the Netherlands when it comes to Avid editing and technical expertise. An active participant of the Avid forums, Menno also hosts a Dutch Avid related forum of his own and leads the Netherlands Avid User Group. Menno is based in the Netherlands with his wife, two children and dog Mira.
